I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ostello Alpino, a charming spot that feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel-exactly the kind of cozy environment I adore! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home with a delightful welcome drink upon arrival. Our room was spotless and featured a private bathroom, offering that touch of luxury I always appreciate, along with complimentary toiletries that add a nice flair. The highlight for me was definitely the complimentary breakfast. The variety was perfect to fuel our daily adventures of skiing and cycling around the beautiful Bormio area. Plus, having private parking was a godsend since I traveled with my motorcycle buddy, ensuring our machines were safe while we explored the stunning surroundings. In the evenings, we enjoyed winding down by the fireplace in the lobby with a glass of wine, truly embracing the homely atmosphere that Ostello Alpino provides. If you're looking for a comfy base with great amenities and a touch of local charm, I highly recommend this little gem!
